Quick update!

I know I said that I would try to be a better blogger, but that doesn't seem to be happening. Sorry everyone. Just wanted to give a quick update on everything that is going on. Our baby is getting nice and big. Everything sounds healthy and we are getting very excited to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We find out on the 16th of February and as soon as we find out I will let you all know. Seth is busy with school and he is working every weekend now at his dad's pharmacy in Preston. I'm still working at 20/20 Optical and it keeps me busy. Well, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. I will try and write more soon.

For those who know me really well know that I am the BIGGEST Robin Hood fan to ever walk to the face of the planet. I heard about a year ago that they were going to be making a new Robin Hood movie. At first I was very excited. That was until I heard who was going to be playing Robin... Russell Crowe. Come on people!!! I loved him in Cinderella Man and Gladiator, but this is not who I imagined at all to play my favorite hero. I felt slightly better when I heard that Cate Blanchett would be playing Maid Marian. I know not very many people like her and think she is not the most gorgeous thing to walk to the face of the earth, but I think she would play Marian with justice. I imagine Marian as a strong woman that can take care of herself, but at the same time has that same soft spot like every woman has in this world for the one she loves. Anywho, they released a teaser trailer a couple days ago and to be honest, I am starting to feel a little better about Russell playing Robin Hood. Maybe he can prove me wrong. Seth and I have known for a while now, but after having my first official doctors visit and getting the ok, I'm sure it's pretty safe to tell everyone... I'M PREGNANT!!! I'm 10 weeks and 3 days and my due date is July 11th. We are extremely excited for this new little addition to our family and can not wait to meet him or her. We will try and keep you posted.

Ever since I was a little girl I can never remember really enjoying Halloween. I don't enjoy dressing up and eating tons of candy. But, I love watching scary movies (as long as there aren't any vampires in the movie). For the past two weeks I've been watching them non stop. Last weekend I watched "The Village", "Lady in the Water", "Signs" and "1408". Then just yesterday my sister-in-law Megan came down. We made curry and watched "The Ring" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer". I could watch more, but I've realized how much time I've been wasting. So, I better stop. But, anywho, I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween!!!

After the tragic death of our siamese kitten Millie, we were positive that we weren't going to get any new cats for a long time. Well, that lasted for about a week. Our brother in law found us a free kitten that looked almost identical to Millie. After bleaching and spraying my house top to bottom, we brought him home. He is such a joy! We love him so much and hope he sticks around for a long time.

Whether we all like to admit it or not, we all have some kind of guilty pleasure. You know, the kind of thing we enjoy but at the same time we are embarassed to admit we enjoy that particular thing. Well, I'm going to tell you a little about one of my guilty pleasures. It's a television series called "Legend of the Seeker". It's based on the Terry Goodkind book series called The Sword of Truth series. There are 11 books! I've read 4 of them, but they are like 900 pages each and it's really small print. Don't get me wrong, they are very entertaining books. I enjoyed them a lot, but there's only so much I can read with that small of print. Anywho, I'm going to post a link of the trailer for the first season. The second season is being filmed right now and will air in November of this year. I'm dying of anticipation!!!! Welcome Home

My brother, Elder Beau Belnap, returned home about two weeks ago from serving an honorable mission in Ventura California. It is good to have him home. It just wasn't the same without him. We are grateful for his willingness to serve Heavenly Father and thank him for staying safe while he was gone. I love you Beau Bear!!!

Okay, for those who know me know that I've never been a big reader. It just never interested me. But, recentely I have found reading to be very enjoyable. I just finished the "Sword of Truth" series and needed something new to enjoy. I had heard about "The Mortal Instruments" trilogy but never thought much of it. Then I was home one day and saw that my sister had the first book. I borrowed it from her so I could give it a chance. I read it in 3 days!!! It's definetely not the best trilogy, but they are very entertaining and I love the story line as well as the characters. If you guys liked the "Twilight" series, then you gotta read "The Mortal Instruments" trilogy. You won't be dissapointed.

This year, Seth and I decided to our own little thing with just each other. We had a ton of fun! We drove up through West Yellowstone, drove through the park and ended up at Jackson. We then came home. It was long, but I'm glad we were able to spend time together. Check it out!

This morning, I got a phone call from my mother. At first the conversation started out as normal. Questions were asked such as "How are you? Is it raining in Pocatello? What are you doing for Sunday dinner?" But, as our conversation continued my mother informed me that she had some bad news. At first I thought "Oh man, what now? " What she was about to tell me I did not expect at all. She informed me that a dear friend of mine that I grew up with (we even share the same birthday, she's just a year older) her husband was killed in a motorcycle accident the day before. He lost control of his bike and slid underneath a semi and was killed instantly. My heart literally broke. At first I thought "This couldn't have happened. Katie is only 25 years old. She can't be a widow." But, sadly it was true. What breaks my heart the most is that they have two little boys. The oldest is 4, the second just turned 2, and she just announced a few days ago that they were expecting a 3rd bundle of joy. Not to mention that Fathers Day is this Sunday! They dated in high school and got married when he returned from his mission. Only five years of marriage.
Now, after a few minutes of thinking about the incident, I found myself feeling angry. After hearing something like this, the last thing I would ever expect is to be feeling angry. I found myself asking Heavenly Father "Why would you do this? Katie is the best person in the world, who has never faltered from the path of righteousness and this is how you repay her?" Then, like a lightning bolt, my heart was touched and a thought entered my mind "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you." John 14:18. I knew exactly where Katie's husband was. I knew who he was with. Why was I asking myself these questions when I already know all the answers? The Lord does not give us any challenges that we can not handle!!! Heavenly Father does not take away the people we love just because. In my opinion there is a reason behind everything.
I know for a fact that families can be together forever. Because my friend Katie has always lived the life of righteousness, Heavenly Father blessed her with the opportunity to be married in the temple and be sealed for time and all eternity to her husband. He may be gone from this earth, but this is not the end. We have been promised that if we keep the commandments and keep our covenants that we make in the temple that we will be with our families always. I'm grateful that Katie has that reassurance that she will be with Brad again. My testimony has been strengthened from this. I know this Gospel is true and that our Heavenly Father loves us and is always with us. He will NEVER leave us comfortless. My thoughts and prayers are with you Katie and your family. I love you!

Hey there all my beautiful lady friends. I was extremely bored the other day and wanted to watch something I had never heard of or seen before. I came across this movie "Keith". At first I was a little skeptical, with Jesse McCartney being the lead character and all, but it was AMAZING!!! The movie plays with your heart strings and tugs just at the right moments. A beautiful story of life and love. I highly recommend it. Check it out!

Closing day is June 25th and honestly it can't come soon enough. I think the thing we look forward to the most is the air conditiong!!!! Well, Seth officially finished his first year of Pharmacy School. YAHOO!!! He did awesome. I am so proud of him. He's always wanting and willing to learn new things, and even though school can be rough sometimes he still loves it. He's was very excited to finish his first year and is ready for the summer. But, in about 5 weeks, mark my words, he will be wanting to go back to school and learn more. Don't believe me? Just ask him. Again, I'm proud of you honey and I hope we have a wonderful summer. You deserve it. I love you!!!

A tribute to my favorite ladies!!!

For as long as I can remember the show "Golden Girls" has always been a part of my life. When I was very young I can remember either my mom or Grandma Hart watching it on television. I would just laugh along with them, not really understanding the humor or the show. But, as I got older I started understand that humor better, and frankly these women were sometimes very dirty ;). But, that's what makes it soooooo funny. Four older women, three of them widowed, one is divorced and they are there for eachother through everything. Whether it be when one has a heart attack, the other finds love but her boyfriend has issues with "performing", or just every day life stuff having to deal with loved ones. The reason for this tribute is even though they were already somewhat elderly when the show aired, time goes on and you continue to age. Slowly over time these wonderful actresses that have brought much humor into my life are passing away.

The first of the four to pass on was Estelle Getty. Estelle played the character of Sophia Patrillo. Sophia was the mother of Dorothy Zbornak. The character was in her 80's and was very witty and was a smart mouth. Sophia was always there to offer advice to any of the other ladies of the house. No matter the situation she had some kind of story to help them solve there problem. Estelle died on July 22, 2008. Three days before her 85th birthday.

The next to pass on was Beatrice Arthur who played Dorothy Zbornak. She passed away today April 25th, 2009 of cancer. She was 86 years of age. Bea's character Dorothy was the lady of the house who was saracastic, comforting, a book worm, and had low self-esteem. Right before they all moved in together as roommates, Dorothy's husband Stanley Zbornak left her for a young, blonde stewartist. But, like I said she was comforting and always considered Sophia, Blanche, and Rose to be her family. At the end of the series finale, Dorothy, of all of them, got remarried to Blanche's uncle.

Now, that just leaves Betty White who played Rose Nylund (by far my favorite female of all four of them) and Rue McClanahan who played Blanche Devereaux. Rose was the stupid, naive, gullible one of the house. Which meant that she was very easy to tease, but she was always the one with the morals and always knew what was right. It was very hard to get her angry, but when she was angry you better watch out. She also had a very competitive side to her. Now, Blanche is what we like to call the slut of the house. The day of her husbands funeral, even though she was true and faithful to him the whole time they were married, made dates with some of the men that attended the services. She is very sure of herself. One of the main things about Blanche though is she is the owner of the house in which they all live together. So, if not for her they all wouldn't have met and had 7 wonderful years together as roommates... friends.

When all is said and done about the show and these wonderful women, it is more than a comedy show. It a show that teaches life lessons, and when you get down to the heart of it, it teaches you what is really important in life. Friends and family that bring out the best in you, that believe in you and are always there for you. To this day I watch at least one episode every night, especially when I'm feeling down because they always make me feel better. If you have never seen the show take some time to sit down and watch an episode or two. I promise you that you will never regret it.

When we first got married Seth and I wanted to start a collection of something together. When we went on our honeymoon to Disneyworld, which we both adore, Seth had this awesome idea of collecting Disney snowglobes. So, here is our collection so far, in order of when we got them, and a little description of them.

#1- This is our honeymoon snowglobe. We got for the wedding theme. Each prince and princess has their own wedding tier. The main part of the snowglobe is Cinderella and her prince, you then have Ariel and Eric, Aurora and Phillip, Snow White and her prince (did he even have a name?) and Belle and Beast.

#2- This is our Villian snowglobe. We got this our first Christmas together as a married couple. We went to Disneyland with the Haslam family and had a wonderful time. Since we got such a "nice" snowglobe the last time, we decided to go with something a little darker. Does it strike fear into your heart?

#3- Most of you know that my family nickname is Pooh Bear. For my first birthday being married Seth got me this adorable "Whinnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day". When you turn it on Pooh bear spins in a circle as if he were caught in a whirl wind. Fun huh?!

#4- Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out ;). After our one year anniversary I had to opportunity to go to Disneyworld with my family. Seth wasn't able to make it because of work. We didn't have an official Mickey Mouse snowglobe yet and I thought this one was perfect. It has all the theme parks in the globe and when you turn it on it spins the water and all the confettii that's inside it. Soooooo magical!

#5- One of the most magical Disney characters by far.... MARY POPPINS!!! Every year at Christmas the Haslam family draw names since their is sooooo many of us. Andres had my name this year and surprised me with this beautiful snowglobe. I love her! She is on top of the Bank's house on Cherry Tree Lane.
#6- Okay, here we have our "Good Guy" snowglobe. We thought it would be perfect to balance out our Villian snowglobe. The only problem is that Captain Hook is hiding on the snowglobe. Other than that everyone else is good. We got this one about two weeks ago. We were in Boise getting my LASIK done. We went to the mall and went to the Disney Store. They were having a sale on all their snowglobes. It was a toss up between this one and a Robin Hood snowglobe. If you know me very well, you have to know how difficult it was to choose because Robin Hood is one of my all time favorite fictional characters. But, we are happy with our decision and we love it!

This past Friday Seth and I went to Boise so I could get my LASIK done. It was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. The surgery only took 15 minutes, and I could instantly see. I did have to go in the next morning for a quick check-up and the doctor said that my vision is 20/20 and that it's only going to get better. I do have to wear these funky goggles at night for two weeks, so I don't rub my eyes when I sleep. I also can't wear eye makeup for two weeks and use medicated and lubricating drops for a while. I'm sooooo scared to have anything near my eyes, but I will eventually get over that fear. For any of you that are even thinking of getting LASIK.... DO IT!!! You will not be disappointed.

So, I can honestly say I have never had my eyes dialated. That is I could say that until this afternoon. In about a week I am going to Boise, Idaho to get LASIK. Before I can do that I had to have a pre-op done by the Optometrist that I work for. One of the things he had to do was dialate my eyes. He first numbed my eyes with some kind of drop and then put some other drops in my eyes so they would dialate. It takes about 10 minutes, but you can tell instantly that there is something going on with your vision. The sun is all of sudden tooooooooo bright and you can't read things up close. Not to mention that your eyes feel like rocks! Thankfully, my eyes are very healthy and we can procede with the surgery next week. I am very excited, because last time I was able to see somewhat great, from what I can remember, was the 3rd grade. But, for those out there that have to have your eyes dialated, I am so sorry!

Emily Deschanel plays Temperance Brennan/Bones in the hit fox television series "Bones". Every thursday night at 7:00 pm. Zoey Deschanel has been in numerous vidoes. Ahhhhhh, New York City. It is by far the best city in the world! Anywho, this is picture of me and my sister-in-law Amber in Central Park. As you can probably tell, Amber isn't really into getting her picture taken. Almost every photo I have of her she's doing something funny (like flipping me off) or has a funny look on her face. Anyway, we got off at the wrong stop and had to walk something like 30 blocks. That may not sound like a lot, but in NYC it's REALLY long! But, all in all we not only had a great time, we also got our exercise in for the day!

"If you can't say something nice....

Don't say nothing at all" We all know the famous saying by Thumper in Disney's movie "Bambi". But, only if it were that simple. The past month I have had a very hard time keeping my mouth shut when it comes to mean patients. Let me give an example.

A couple months back co-workers had an experience with a patient that wasn't much fun. I heard stories about her, but I thought to myself "She can't be that bad". I should have known that I was jinxing myself by thinking that. The next time this patient came in I had to help her, and honestly she wasn't that bad. Sure they were a little grumpy but all in all not terrible. The next week this patient comes back in again and I start to see the evil side of this person. The next week they come in again! The more this certain someone comes in the more I see an evil green monster. Well, today was the icing on the cake. The patient came in again saying things like "I am sooooo careful with my glasses and don't ever let my children touch them. Well, they are broken in half and paint is already starting to come off." I was more than willing to order a new frame for them. I got on the phone to do so and was put on hold. While I'm waiting to order the frame, the patient looks at me with an evil glare and says to me in a snotty voice "I broke my toe and I'm gonna be late to doctor if you don't hurry up!" Certain words ran through my head about that person that I don't usually think about! I had to literally bite my tongue to stop myself from saying something that I'm sure would have gotten me fired. Here I am trying to help this person, and all I get from them is an attitude that quite frankly made me feel like I was nothing but pooh.

Anywho, I just had to get that off my chest! Am I being a whiner or am I not the only one that has experienced something like this. If you have any advice on how to keep my mind from thinking such bad things about someone, please let me know.

The Lord has a funny way of teaching us things...

Yep, you read the title right. Today in Relief Society our teacher talked on missionary work. I don't know about you, but whenever I hear a talk or a lesson on missionay work my heart sinks to the pit of my stomach. Anyway, here is Rachel giving such a wonderful lesson on missionary work and I think to myself "Gee, I should probably work on being a better missionary". Well, not even 5 minutes later Seth and I are driving home and he says "Oh, by the way the Elders asked us to take an investigator to this evenings Sacrament meeting. So, we will pick her up at 7:15." 5 MINUTES LATER!!! It's one thing to think about being a better missionary and actually acting like a better missionary. Anywho, we picked up the investigator and took her to the sacrament meeting. At the very end the bishop that was conducting the meeting talked about always having our oil lamps ready. He commented on just by being there that evening, our oil lamps are a little more full.

It occured to me that in order to be a good missionary you don't have to do these big, extravigant things. It's the little acts of kindness that make the big difference. I love hearing stories from my brother who is serving a mission in California. Beau has always been a humble and meek person and I think that's one of the reasons he does so well on his mission.

Another person that is a great example to me of doing missionary work is Seth. In this past year we have had a couple missionary experiences. Our first was there was a Chinese investigator and we were able to go with the missionaries so Seth could help translate. We were also able to go with her to the visitors center in IF and also attend her baptism where Seth was asked to talk. And then our experience tonight. Also, whenever we see our neighbors Seth is the first to say and hi and ask who they are. He's not afraid to go out of his comfort zone when it comes to stuff like that. I am though! I think that's what I need to work on the most.

That all being said, I just wanted to say that I have a testimony of missionary work. I know how powerful it is and that we all can be great missionaries. All we have to do is pray for the opportunities and ask our Heavenly Father to help prepare us for the situtations we will be placed in when those missionary opportunites arise. And in the end we will be blessed.

Just wanted to take this moment to let all of my friends and family know how much I love and care about them. And even if you are single, always know that there is someone out there that loves you very much!

Now, I don't know how often Seth reads our blog, but I wanted to take this time to tell my Valentine how much I love and appreciate him. You work very hard at school and words can't even begin to describe how much that means to me. I may not show it in all of my every day actions, but I love you with every fiber of my being! My heart still flutters whenever you smile at me. And even though you may be VERY sarcastic at times you still make me laugh. I can't imagine my life without you. With that being said remember that I love you very much and I hope that you have a Happy Valentines Day!!!

It might just be a very interesting evening...

Twenty minutes to go before my next class. If you'll indulge me, I'll babble on for the next few minutes about our recent goings and comings.
Paige and I are still dieting, and it is hard as hell--yes, hard as hell (i.e. really hard)--but we have both been compliant. I really got tired of Paige's friends asking why I had gained so much weight since we were married, and so I decided it was time to get semi-slim again. Fifteen pounds for me so far.... and hopefully the downward trend will continue.
I have had four tests in the past week and it is really getting old. My daily routine consists of going to class, thinking about studying, actually studying, and wishing I wasn't studying. It is all for a good cause though, and hopefully it will reap benefits in the end.
Paige has been reading a lot recently....yeah, my Paige. She has found a series of novels that she really enjoys. I haven't seen any mancho "Fabio" men on the front covers, so that means they aren't "those" type of novels. Not that it would matter, but I'm still 40 pounds overweight and balding, I can't compete with romance novel men. Anywho, she seems to really enjoy reading again and I guess that's all that matters.

Our Diet!!!

Okay, Seth and I decided that we BOTH need to lose some weight. So, the day afte my birthday our diet officially started. This is how it works. We both have a shake for breakfast and lunch. Then for dinner we can't have more than 800 calories. We also have to work out at least 4 times a week. I actually have now problem with the working out part because I actually enjoy going to the gym. It relieves the stress that work causes. Anywho, we will weigh ourselves every Sunday on our Wii Fit and check our status. This upcoming Sunday we will weigh ourselves again, but last Sunday we had been on our diet for a week. I lost 7 lbs. and Seth lost 10 lbs. Seth has been really into it. Before we started this he typed up a contract for us both to sign. We will be on this diet until June 1st and will probably continue to do so. It's amazing how much better I feel and what's even better is my pants are getting very baggy!!! BRING ON THE BAGGY!

Hey there everyone! Well, today was my 24th birthday, and I must say that it was fantastic. Since my birthday was on a Sunday, Seth took me out to dinner the night before. I was very excited to spend some time alone with him since we don't get to that very often with me being at work all day and him in Pharmacy school. Anyway, this morning when I woke up Seth gave me my presents. He gave me a new watch and BBC Robin Hood season 1 on Blu-ray. What a nice husband right? We were actually up at my parents house in Idaho Falls. We went to church with them. When we got home we had Minastroni (I think that's how you spell it) for my birthday. That's what I requested because my dad is sooooooo good at making it. We then opened presents and had birthday cake. We drove back down to Poky where my bestest best buddy Kerri came over with a plate of brownies and the 3rd book of this series that I am reading. I just love her!!! I want to thank all my friends and family for the e-mails, phone calls, and cards. I am truly blessed to have people that love me that much to take the time to even think of me. Thanks for all you do. Next year.... 25!!!!

Another Christmas come and gone.

First of all, Seth and I both hope that all of our friends and family had a very Merry Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas. We were fortunate to see both our families. Christmas Eve was spent at the Haslam house. Everyone was there. We had Christmas Eve dinner which consisted of three kinds of soups. They were Potatoe and Sausage, Beef Stew, and Clam Chowder. We also had bread and my personal favorite 1 and 2 year aged sharp cheddar cheese from Vermont. My mother-in-law specially ordered it. We had dinner and exchanged gifts. Then, Seth and I took off for Idaho Falls to be with the Belnap family. We were lucky enough to beat the storm that was going to hit later that evening and all Christmas day. On Christmas day we had the opportunity to talk to my brother Elder Belnap. It is amazing how much older he sounds. It was nice to get to speak with him. We're thankful that we were able to drive safetly the entire time thanks to my in-laws for letting us borrow the Jeep. I don't think we would have been able to do so in our little Ford Focus. We love you all and hope you have an awesome New Year!!!

Okay, so if you ask anyone who knows me pretty well would agree when I say that I'm a nerd. I have very interesting tastes in movies, books and television. One of my huge guilty pleasures these past two years was BBC's Robin Hood. Long story short, I don't watch it anymore because they managed to kill my favorite character not once, but TWICE!!! That's right! Marian is gone, gone, gone!!! So, I had to find another show to fulfill my "needs" hehe. I've been really liking Fox's Bones. It is an amazing show. The chemistry between David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel is unreal. And, although I really enjoy Bones, it hasn't quite filled me "needs". A friend of mine found a show for me and has been suggesting it for the passed seven weeks. At first when she told me I really didn't want to get caught up in a show again like I did with Robin Hood. So, I kept putting it off. But, one day I was really bored and came across the show that my friend suggested for me. There was nothing else to do, so I watched the first episode. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!! I became instantly hooked. I am not going to tell you what the name of the show is because I know that I will be made fun of someday. So, if you wanna know what the show is e-mail me or write me on my facebook and I will tell you. Until then, I will just keep this guilty pleasure to myself ;).

THANK GOODNESS!!! Seth has officially finished his first semester of Pharmacy School. His last final was this afternoon and he did very well. I am soooooo proud of him and all that he is doing. I have been blessed with such a wonderful husband. Sometimes I wonder how even puts up with me 99.9% of the time. I love you Seth!!!

Yo diggidy Yo!!! How is everyone doing? I was so proud of Seth for writing a post on our blog. That just gives me more motivation to write as well. IT SNOWED TODAY!!! It's exciting to see white stuff on the ground because what's Christmas without snow? The only thing I don't look forward to are the slick roads. Anyone agree with me?
Anywho, Seth is preparing for finals that start next week. He is going to be extremely busy. Glad it's him and not me ;). Work is still the same for me. Nothing new and exciting. I'm going to Utah with my sister-in-laws and mother-in-law to do our annual Christmas shopping spree (even though I'm pretty much done). We are going to be staying in Park City at the Marriott. I'm WAY excited! The only people I have left to shop for are my dad, mom, and Seth's parents.
Oh, now the sun has come out and the snow is melting. Dangit!!! Oh well, maybe it will snow again soon. Love ya all!!!

Hi everyone--it's me, Seth. Paige and I have survived Thanksgiving break, and thankfully have not gained too much weight. Paige was a little frustrated with me yesterday though-- I have some how managed to eat all of the pie that the Belnaps sent us home with....it really isn't my fault, it was just too yummy to pass up. Fall semester is almost over, wahoo, and it couldn't have come soon enough. I'm a little burnt out, and am anxiously awaiting the Christmas break.

About the title of our blog--it comes from a Simpsons episode, I'll have to see if anyone knows which one (not that anyone will know other than A.J., Kaleb, or myself.)

Hey everyone! So, as you can tell Seth and I aren't very good at blogging. I guess life just gets a little hectic and we tend to forget that we have a blog. But, that shouldn't be an excuse. I'm going to take it upon myself to tell you, in a nutshell, what's been going on with our lives since April.

First off Seth started Pharmacy School two weeks ago and it's keeping him VERY busy! Good thing that he likes it or it would be a whole lot harder. He has class everyday starting at 8:00 am. Some days he gets off at 1:00 the others at 3:00. He then comes home, works out, eats, and then hits the books. When it gets closer to bedtime he needs me to play video games with him so his brain doesn't fry.

I'm working at 20/20 Optical as an Optician. I love it!!! I always like learning new things, and this is definetely something that I have never done before. I quit Don Aslett's about 4 months ago and just recently was asked to come back. They are in desperate need of help and so I will be working about 3-4 times a day in the afternoons. So, I go to work at 9:00 am to 20/20 till 1:00 pm. I will come home for maybe an hour or two then go to work at Don Aslett's for a couple of hours. Then I will be home by 6:30. I have to say that I am pretty excited because this means that I have NO excuse to be lazy.

We left The Elms Apartments because it was becoming too much for us with Seth starting Pharmacy school and all. I certainly did not want to take care of the place by myself. We moved into a rental house on 9th Avenue. We are still getting used to it. We'll probably only stay till next year and then we're thinking of getting a townhouse, but that's still up in the air. Our cat Elphie is still the same. You can tell that she is getting older cause she has calmed down a lot. She seems to like the new house a lot more since there are more cats around the area (even though she is an indoor cat).

So, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. Again, I promise I will try and do better on this whole blogging thing. Bear with me and hopefully I will succeed. Have an awesome day!

It's been a long time!

WOW!!! It has been a long time since we last wrote on our blog. Life has been pretty crazy this past month. Things around the apartment are starting to get a little more busy because summer is coming up soon. Students are trying to decide if they want to stay or move away and it's gonna get pretty crazy! My sister went through the temple for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. We were surrounded by friends and family. My mom should be very proud of herself because all of her children have officially gone through the temple. GO MOM!!!

Seth and I had the opportunity to attend the Sunday morning session of General Conference. It was amazing. I can honestly say that I truly prepared myself for conference this year. I got something out of every single talk and that has never happened before. Anyway, we got to spend the weekend with a lot of his family and we had a lot of fun. We all went to PF Changs. DELICIOUS!!! I am addicted to their brown rice, mongolian beef, and sweet and sour chicken. Dang, I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it.

Work is still going well for us. Seth got a new job at Convergys! He actually likes it. He says that it beats standing on your feet for eight hours at Heinz. Instead he gets to sit on his butt for eight hours hehe. Don Aslett's is still the same for me. We had a booth at the Spring Fair and that went very well. It was a lot busier this year than it was last year. I was just excited for the fair because I always purchase a rasberry lemond from a stand that little asian woman run and it is probably the best lemonade I've ever had. It has actually rasberries in it and it's fresh hand made lemonde. It doesn't get any better than that! Well, that's pretty much it in a nut shell. We hope that all is going well with all of you. Hopefully it won't take me as long to write another blog!

Crazy Weekend!

What a weekend this has been. Let me tell you just how crazy these past three days have been. On Friday Seth's brother AJ came down for a visit and I went to the theater with my friend Kerri. We went and saw Spiderwick Chronicles. If you have not seen this movie, I highly recommend it.

On Saturday Seth, me, and AJ got up early so we could be out of Pocatello by 7:00 am. Well, we wake up and low and behold there is snow on the ground! We couldn't leave until we had shoveled the sidewalks here at the apartments. Luckily AJ was with us so it didn't take long. Finally, at about 7:30 am we were on the road to Orem Utah to see our new neice Isabella. The weather was terrible until we got passed Malad then the roads were clear. We arrived in Orem at 11:00 am and spent a couple hours at the hospital visiting Hollie, Andres and Izzy. I was so mad because when we got there I realized that we had forgotten our camera! So, I have pictures of Izzy on my phone but can't transfer them to the computer. So, when we get pictures we will post them. She is beautiful! I love being an aunt!!! After visiting them, we drove through Preston and picked up our nephews Caleb and Michael and got home at about 5:00 pm. Now, the reason why I had so many boys in my house this weekend is because Supersmash Bros. Brawl was released at midnight for the Wii and they all wanted to play. While they had their "manly bonding" I stayed in the bedroom, watched a movie, ate junk food, and fell asleep at 10:00 pm.

Sunday morning, we got up to get ready for church. When it was about 8:50 am Seth realized that it was actually 9:50 am because of daylight savings time! CHURCH STARTED AT 9:30 AM!!! We missed Sacrament meeting, but I made it to Primary.

So, as you can see this was a very long weekend that kept us busy. But all in all it was a wonderful weekend and I enjoyed seeing my in-laws.

Bowl-O-Ramma!!!

Have you been bowling recently? Yeah, I haven't either. To tell you the truth, I find bowling alleys a little indimidating. The problem is the "league" bowlers--they own the place. I remember bowling as a kid in Preston. One of the bowling alley regulars asked me never to come back to the alley, because my bowling technique was ruining the hard wood lane (now that I think about it, I did throw the ball like it was a shot put and not a bowling ball--it usually bounced two or three times before finally making permenant contact with the floor.) Nevertheless, it was a good night of bowling. My mother in law managed to defeat the rest of us like we were bumper bowling five year olds, darn she's good. No, I'm serious, SHE IS GOOD. I know you don't believe me, but take my word for it. She told us she hadn't been bowling in years--which can't be true, she bowled a 175 for cryin out loud. Oh well, there's always Wii Sports bowling, am I right?

Spring Fever!

Well, probably like most of you Seth and I have a bad case of Spring Fever!!!! We are very happy that all the snow is gone, but now it's a matter of the weather getting warm again. So, we wait patiently and anxiously for that to occur. But, in the mean time we are both sick and loving every minute of it... NOT!!! I'm just getting over a cold and now Seth feels pretty crappy. This is another reason why we want Spring, because people don't get sick as often during Spring time. Just a reminder, both Seth and I will be posting on this blog. I will talk about "important" things while Seth fills you on all the other stuff. Stuff like nintendo and technology-- all the stuff I don't care about ;). No, I'll probably write some pretty pointless stuff too, like about BBC's Robin Hood and our cat Elphie hehe. As a side note, check out the video of "FatHead" below. Isn't she cute?!
